Offer a service
The
best way to start is to provide a service, so you don't need to fund an
investment. My podcast editor Ian Robinson helps podcast creators edit their
shows to raise the value of their productions. There are several different ways
to deliver a business, and it's all about figuring out where your expertise is
and what other options you can bring.
Use existing websites
You
may also opt to use existing websites to make money. This include both active
earnings, and passive earnings types. For example, you can sell some used
parts, or invest in making some virtual designs which can then be sold on
merchandise. Once, spend a significant portion of your time on passive income
so you can slowly build up earnings that will arrive on autopilot without any
additional effort.
A
large part of these sites do, of course, have their own software. But these are
definitely less active in the gig economy, and more so, for example, in the
long-term projects in the fields of photography, online marketing, graphic
design, and web development.
Make
Money Online: Email marketing
Set
up email software and build a lead magnet that can be used in your sales funnel
if you are involved in online marketing. Then, build the list. It's also said
you can expect every user to earn around $1 a month. That ensures that if you
have a list of 10,000 subscribers you will earn about $10,000 a month. You’ll
have to deliver value and not pitch it on every post, but in a short time, it’s
a very achievable goal.
There
are many ways you can get people on your list. One such tool is lead magnets.
You can build ebooks, checklists, and cheat sheets, for example. But you can
also update the material, such as an article’s PDF version with added tools,
four-part video learning sequence, and more. Think of your audience and what
you can give them to please them better, then treat them with some
consideration and hopefully you can earn the rewards.
